Terms of service
These terms apply between [FULL COMPANY NAME] (the "service") and a shop that installs the plugin and connects to the network (the "shop"). They are accepted when the shop connects.
1. What the service does
Seller Protector is a shared network of shops that exchange delivery outcomes in hashed form. On every order, a shop receives a customer score from 0 to 5 based on the ratio of collected to non-collected parcels reported by shops in the network.
The service consists of a WordPress plugin and a central service at sellerprotectorapp.com. The plugin does not work without the service.
2. Who can join
- A registered company or sole trader with a valid tax number.
- A shop on its own domain, with a WooCommerce store in operation.
- One shop per domain.
The service may refuse or withdraw access for a shop that does not meet these conditions.
3. Obligations of the shop
The value of the network depends entirely on how honestly outcomes are reported. The shop therefore accepts that it:
- Reports truthful outcomes. "Not collected" is reported only for a parcel that genuinely came back undelivered.
- Reports only its own orders. An outcome may be reported only for an order that shop received and previously checked through the service.
- Files one record per order. Reporting the same case several times is not allowed.
- Corrects mistakes. A wrongly reported outcome is withdrawn within 30 days, through the plugin.
- Keeps comments factual. A comment about a customer must be a short factual note with a mandatory tag. Insults, personal data, accusations of criminal conduct and any content going beyond a description of the delivery outcome are not allowed.
- Names the service in its own privacy policy as a recipient of data. Ready-made wording is provided with the plugin.
- Does not use the score to refuse a sale. Cash on delivery may be withheld from a customer with a poor score, but the purchase itself must not be refused when payment is made in advance.
4. What the service does not guarantee
- The score is information, not a recommendation and not a decision. The decision on every order is made by the shop, which is responsible for it.
- The service does not guarantee the accuracy of a score. It is calculated from what other shops have reported and may contain errors.
- The service does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. If the service does not respond, the plugin skips the score and the shop operates normally — a sale is never blocked.
- The service is not liable for lost profit, lost sales or any indirect damage arising from use of, or lack of access to, the network.
5. Misuse
A shop that systematically reports false outcomes, reports customers who never ordered from it, or uses the network for anything other than assessing delivery risk, loses access without a refund of any fee paid.
The service monitors reporting anomalies. A shop with no reported non-collected parcels across more than 100 records has the weight of its positive reports reduced, because that pattern indicates outcomes are not being reported consistently.
6. Price
The plugin is free and stays free. What is charged is access to the network, and only once the network is large enough to genuinely return more than it asks.
- At this stage access is free with no limit on the number of lookups.
- The first 100 shops stay on the free plan permanently, even once billing starts.
- Billing is announced at least 60 days in advance, by e-mail and inside the plugin.
- A shop that does not accept billing moves to the free plan with a monthly lookup limit and loses none of its data.
7. Termination
A shop may deactivate the plugin at any time and thereby stop using the service. Outcome records it reported until then stay in the network under the periods set out in the privacy policy, because other shops have already relied on them in their own decisions.
The service may withdraw a shop's access with notice by e-mail: immediately in case of misuse under clause 5, and otherwise with 30 days' notice.
8. Changes to these terms
Changes are published on this page. Material changes are notified by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after that period means the changes are accepted.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. The competent court is [COURT].
